End User License Agreement
Last updated: 2026-06-16
By installing, accessing, or using AntiBrute (“Software”), you agree to this End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) with AntiBrute (“Licensor”). If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. License grant
Subject to payment of applicable fees and compliance with this Agreement, Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on the number of Microsoft Windows or Windows Server machines permitted by your subscription plan. The Software is licensed, not sold.
2. What the Software does
AntiBrute monitors failed authentication events and may create or modify Microsoft Windows Firewall rules to block remote source IP addresses. You configure optional Block Hours, country policies, and whitelists.
You acknowledge that the Software:
- Modifies system and network security configuration
- In dry-run mode, monitors without applying firewall rules; disabling dry-run enables blocking
- May block legitimate users, remote admin, backups, or integrations if misconfigured
- Depends on Windows event logs, network connectivity, GeoIP data, and online license validation
3. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Backups of data, systems, and configurations
- Testing (dry-run, whitelists, thresholds) before production use
- Having authority to install on the target machine
- Reviewing blocks, alerts, and firewall rules regularly
- Compliance with applicable laws
4. Disclaimer of warranties
The software is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Licensor does not warrant that the Software will detect or prevent all attacks, intrusions, unauthorized access, data loss, or security breaches.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Licensor shall not be liable for any loss of data, profits, revenue, business, goodwill, downtime, lockout from services (RDP, SSH, MSSQL, FTP, SMB), wrongful blocking, failure to block, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise.
6. Billing
Subscriptions are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. See Refunds. License keys are machine-bound; sharing or circumventing validation is prohibited.
7. Termination
This license ends on breach, subscription expiry, or revocation. Disclaimer and liability sections survive termination.
